My hourly rates are as follows:
$140/hour for design services (space planning, consults, color palette development, sourcing, etc.)
$60/hour for travel time
I am always happy to tailor my services to individual budgets. I have many clients who opt to spend $1000-1500 on design services (and sometimes less) — and we can get a lot done with that! Other clients opt not to set a design services budget; since I send invoices monthly, they are always able to know where we stand, fee-wise.
I am also able to quote a flat rate for services, especially for new construction. If you have final plans to share with me, I can provide you with a flat-rate quote in a couple of days.
I have relationships with many trade-only vendors. When I order job material and supplies (furnishings, fabric, window treatments, tile, etc.) from these vendors, I bill clients on a cost-plus basis. The mark-up varies depending on my trade discount, but will never exceed retail price. I can often save clients money through free samples, free shipping, etc.
