Project #2020retirement
Cody, Wyoming
This project, from start to finish, was so much fun. Working with repeat clients really allows you to get to know the people you’re working with, to bounce ideas around, and to create spaces that really reflect their personalities.
Originally built in the early 2000’s, this small home had a lot of oak and brass (not the good kind), as well as an unfinished basement that the couple really needed to utilize for guests and storage. In a close collaboration over many months, we worked with the contractor to maximize space and create a bright and airy feeling that was lacking before.
The clients had an extensive collection of art, as well as a lot of heirloom furniture pieces. We added new upholstery on old furniture, and jazzed things up with some new pieces. And we found homes for larger pieces, which isn’t always easy when downsizing. Bold blue accents lend a cohesive element throughout the home.
